My Website is Here!1

I finally have a website (Mobile Compatible2)! It's been a while since I bought the domain, but I finally built something and found a way to host it securely.

If you don't know who I am, let me introduce myself: I am Jacob O'Brien, I am a Catholic who studies Computer Engineering. I do a lot of projects in my own time, as you may see here. Unlike Instagram or other social media platforms, this is under all of my control, meaning I can show anything and how I want to show it. If that makes sense. As you can clearly see, front-end development isn't my strong suit, but I still tried, and it doesn't look horrible in my opinion, just a bit '2000s'. Which is the look I was going for. Well, actually, I am unsure what exactly what it looks like, but I like it. And that is the point, isn't it? I am tired of so many fake websites trying to sell me something (or sell me) or overdoing it, just to take like 2 minutes to fully load on my system.

I'm not trying to sell 'Jacob' to you; I am just here, marking my place on this wide world called the InterNetworks.

Maybe I will keep using this kind of website design. I might make it better over time, but for now, this is what I got.

Site Colors

rgb(100,100,100); Sub Titles
rgb(255,227,161); Foreground Background
rgb(255,236,192); Intermediate Foreground Background
rgb(248,231,210); Overall Background
rgb(0,0,0); Titles/text
rgb(47, 47, 47); Footbar
rgb(255, 81, 0); MessyOrange or International Orange

I think THIS orange is a unique color choice. It's NOT just any orange; it's the one I use everywhere, my personal favorite digital color. The number 81 is there because of my favorite Formula One driver (who hopefully wins the 2025 World Championship!). However, it is 99.6% similar to the International Orange, so close where no one really can tell the difference. Your computer, of course, can!

P.S. The cover image is a picture of an IDF I saw while I was working an internship at the school district IT department. Cool stuff. While it is a placeholder image, I did think it was cool to see. ALSO! Did you see that epic mouse hover animation when you hovered over the post-card?! It looks so professional! Matter of fact, Go back and look at it, and appreciate it! >:)

To Mr Smith: It is pronounced as G-U-I. And Day-ta not Da-Ta

1 : Technically, there was one here before... but it wasn't really well made, nor was it meant to be permanent. This is a full redo.
2 : If you are on mobile, please excuse any layout issues, I am working on it! The hardest part is testing. TBH, it still needs work. so it really isn't fully mobile compatible yet... But, then I can't just remove it!
